If it looks like your vagina has snotted (clear/yellow/greenish) then its plug. If its pink tinged then its probably show.

Thick mucusy snot. Mine had streaks of red blood (bloody show) in it too.

My OB said losing your mucus plug doesn't mean you're going into labor. It just means you're dilating/effacing.

you can still be 0 and 0 and loose your plug.

so its like a yellow color? and is it possible u can lose while having sex?

Reeeally? I don't know. I dilate fast, and then get stuck at 4-5 cm. until I'm induced.

No biggie on loosing your mucus plug. Its mucusy like snot and is normally pink, red, or brown tinged in color.

It looks like a big ball of snot. It mostly clear but i've heard it can be blood tinged

It looks like partially dried rubber cement. It's an extreme amount of goop that is just different from everything else coming out of there. Normally once you lose it at the end of pregnancy, the goop you deal with daily increases a bunch until delivery. Yes you can lose your mucus plug after sex, but it might be tricky to tell the difference between normal stuff and stuff that isn't normal.
