Most documentaries are nothing but propoganda anyway. I watch them all with one eyebrow up and I scoff a lot, lmao. I watch them to bore A to sleep on the nights she wont sleep. And I will look for the bars.

A couple of different things here. If biting is an a ongoing issue that can be stopped & obviously I am sure you want to. Have you read this to address the biting? : http://kellymom.com/ages/older-infant/biting/

Then the infection - I have done antibiotics & garlic & garlic was better & faster for me. I did not have pain lingering. When you say you are eating it - are you eating it raw? It should be crushed, wait 5 mins (has something to do with oxidation) & then swallowed whole 3 times a day for 3 days, then 2x a day for 3 days & then once a day for 3days. Pain radiating down your arm to the point it shakes is concerning for sure. :/ If this is resulting from plugged ducts too - you can take Lecithin to help avoid those. Have you tried that?

Thank you!

I have never heard of Lecithin, I will have to try it.

And I do eat raw garlic, blach. I looked at the link but it doesn't have anything for his type of biting. He will act hungry, so I go to nurse him and he just chomps down and walks away. It is scary. My daughter only ever bit me when she fell asleep nursing. Nursing him is like Russian roulette.

My 2nd one did this as a newborn & I took him to the chiropractor & it stopped. I had no other options to try by that point & people kept suggesting it & I figured I had nothing to loose. It literally stopped the DAY he got adjusted. A few days later he did it again, he got another adjustment & was fine again. I know it might sound nuts (it did to me) but it worked. You might think that a newborn biting with no teeth wouldn't be bad, bu tit is - bad enough he had me ripped about 3/4 of the way round or worse. :/ He would clamp & then arch. I wish I would have had him adjusted on day 1. LOL

That sounds awful! Ow.

We had him adjusted a couple times immediately after birth because he was extremely colicky but our chiropractor said everything seemed perfect and he didn't think that was the reason. He has bit since the day he was born too, lol, it's just now he has 8 teeth.

We love chiropractics but it seems like it's just his way of saying no thanks! He is a booger.
