DH thinks we should have an abortion

right now financially we are NOT in the best place to add a baby...he thinks we should consider abortion.
ive had abortions in the past and i think about them from time to time
i do not want to have an abortion
i wont
he cant make me
i will do EVERYTHING I can to keep our family fed and clothed with a roof over our heads

Your choice NOT his!!!

Its your body and if you don't want to abort then don't. But since he is your husband and you both have to live with this I would sit down and have a mature rational conversation about all of your options and why you think keeping the baby is best.

If you don't want one, don't get one. It's your body. And who knows what will happen in the next 9ish months. Maybe things will get better financially. You never know till you try. But it's all your choice not his!

I would have one if it would jeopardize my marriage. If he's not gonna leave you over it then just have the baby.

Your choice not his. He knew the consequences, he needs to suck it up!

I could not have an abortion, my husband knows this. We would just have to figure life out during the pregnancy to make it financially better for us.

I suppose in the end it is your choice, and your choice only. But since he is your husband I think he should be able to express his opinion and you be able to take it seriously and think about it.
If you are not financially stable to bring another child into your family then you probably shouldn't have that child. It only makes your other children suffer in a sense.
If your finances do not improve in the next 9 months I would look into adoption.

It's your choice ultimately but if my husband was really uncomfortable with the thought of adding another child and we had a surprise pregnancy, I would feel obligated to at least consider his feelings. which does not mean i think you should do what he says, it just means i think you should talk to him about how you feel about it and hear his side. just keep the communication open, dont just say "im not doing it, i dont care what you say" kwim?

It's your choice not his, I would be prepared for some rough points in your marriage if he really wants you to have one. I am not saying go have kne because of it, I am just saying this is something that is very hard to go through if both parties are not at the same agreement or understanding.

There's lots of ppl who would love to have children and can't. If you can't financially support it give it up for adoption. Abortion is not the answer

I like how you put this

You may be married, but it would be you getting an abortion, not we got an abortion. It's your body, your choice.

Wow, that's a tough choice. I hope it all works out in the end and it's a happy result.
