Ellie - Yes or No??

So we have decided on a name for our little girl, Ellie. If anyone has seen the movie "UP" you would know where it came from.

What are your thoughts?

We ordered the cutest little scrub set for my husband too... It Says "Ellie's Daddy" on them. So damn cute!!! Got them at DadDuds.com - has anyone else tried them? What do you think of the name... it might help that my maiden name is Elliot LOL

I think it's a nice name, but nice as a nickname. I like a more formal name, like Eleanor or Elaine and call her Ellie for short.

nope. Ella yes, Ellie no. Sounds too childish and almost cow like.

I don't think it will age well. I think she should have a professional name, not a nickname as her name.

I think Ellie is cute. I do prefer it as a NN for a longer name just because i'd prefer my kid to have a more professional/adult name to go by if she chose to do so.. But Ellie is fine.

my cousins little girl is named Ellie. I think it's super cute and fitting for her as a little girl. I prefer it as a nickname though personally, because I have a hard time picture Ellie on a middle old professional lady.

Ellliot or Eleanor please. Use Ellie for a nickname

Anything you do don't name her Elliot then call her Ellie please

Eleanor, Elliana or Elizabeth

Ellie is cute for a nickname...I like Eleanor for the full name.

I know an Ellie.. Not sure if that is a nick name or not but they just call her Ellie.. I prefer Ella over Ellie but Ellie is cute too
