Honestly, nothing surprises me anymore with all the craptastic smurf I've seen on babies lately.

That doesn't mean it's a good idea. There's a female Fred on Angel, I suppose thats just as pretty. Oh and there's a female Ed on Coyboy Bebop....I suppose that's beautiful as well.

Seriously, no wonder why you spew stupidity when it comes to names when your only sources are TV shows.

According to ETYMOLOGY, it's a surname derived from Elias >comes from Elijah > how the smurf is that feminine?

Elliot is a WONDERFUL choice for a boy. It's classy, sophisticated and will age really well. Definitely keep it.

My son's name is Elliott and I don't regret naming him at all. I think it's stupid on a girl. It's a boys name.

ooh very nice list. I am biased towards Elise, because that's my little girls name

I like that it has something to do with your maiden name.

and TV characters are so very real.......

Elliot is a strong wonderful boys name. My son shouldn't go through life with girls sharing his name. If I wanted that, I would have given him a stupid unisex name like Payton.

I have a 13 month old and we named her Ellery but call her Ellie for short. We wanted a full name that can grow with her. When she's an adult, she can go by Elle, Ellie, or Ellery. I love it, but I'm biased!
