advise needed...two questions :)

posted 10th Dec
so I am over due and being induced on Wednesday. I have been trying everything possible to get labor started naturally. I have done things such as walking twice a day, having sex everyday, I am taking Primrose oils, I have been trying the forward-leaning inversion pose, nipple and Achilles tendon stimulation, hot baths, and soooo much more. I refuse to do the coffee, tea, and Castro oil option. But since 37 weeks I have been having Braxton Hicks. But today I did the same things that I do everyday and after my walk I have been having contractions or Braxton Hicks but my lower back and hips are killing me. I feel like I cant sit in certain positions like I am getting pains in my vagina when I sit. I am just getting some yucky menstrual cramps and it hurts to move or change positions. The pain goes from my lower tummy/vagina to my hips, around to my back. Now my question, did anyone have these feelings before going into labor and how long did you feel this way before you actually had your baby?!?! I also have a second question. Did anyone do a baby moon after having their baby and if so, how did you go about telling loved ones that your doing this. I have my mother and aunt traveling up for my labor from 3 hours away. My husband really want to do a baby moon but I am not sure how to tell my mother that we want this without her being upset. I feel bad that I am asking her to leave a few days after the baby is born but we feel very strongly about our alone time. Any advise?

A baby moon is when your and your spouse spend nothing but alone time once you get home. So you can focus on just the three of you and your time to bond. You dont have company over for a few days. We are going to have company while at the hospital but the first few days we dont want company so we can spend time with our baby boy
