travel with 3 month old

Ok so we're going to San Diego on Saturday and we'll be gone for 10 days.

1. Any advice for the plane ride? And 2. What kind of things did/ would you take with you? Like anything you thought damn I wish I brought that...

Light layers. Right now it's pretty chilly in the early morning. warm in the afternoons and chilly again at night.

And when we flew with DS at 3 months we just took a binky and tried to have a bottle ready for take off and landing so he would suck to help pop his ears. We had a little bag with just a couple diapers and small bag of wipes so we werent digging around a huge bag in our seats. We also had him travel in a sleep in play so he was comfy not too hot or too cold. And if you have a carrier it will be your best friend in the airport.

I overpacked when I flew with my 2.5 month old. She slept the whole time and only needed like 2 diaper changes. It is hard to not want to overpack but it is annoying carrying things that dont need to be carried.

That's why I did a big bag in the over head withthe "What if" items and a small bag with just one or two diapers and and extra sleep and play to keep down under the seat. Then I just popped the little bag in the big bag when we werent on the plane.
