I feel bad for your brother. I am glad he sees something is fishy. I hope for his sake she really is pregnant, but it doesn't sound like it.

My guy friend went thru this same situation. His ex got pregnant, but she worked for an ob-gyn office as a receptionist so she never needed an appointment, she just 'popped' into the u/s room when it was slow, she constantly had an excuse for him to not go, including bringing home an ultrasound for him which had 'ripped by accident' when it was being printed, coincidentaly right along the top where your name and info is. The baby 'didnt like him' so when he touched her belly, it neverrrr once kicked or moved for him. Come labor time, how coincidental that she goes into labor while he was at work, has a still born, and tells the hospital shes too depressed to deal with a funeral and such and tells the hospital to do with it as they please. He doesn't get a call 'til after all this has been decided, so she tells him to not even bother coming to get her from the hospital, cuz they wont even let him see the baby anyway.
OP - do u think its possible she lied about being pregnant in the begining so he'd let his guard down n have unprotected sex w/her, thereby getting her pregnant making her have to push her pregnancy an extra 4weeks to align her lie w/a real one?

Maybe it's like in Baby Mama and she lied at first but now she really is and she's not far enough along to go with.her first lie.

I thought that might be the case for a while in the beginning, but now, no I don't think so. None of her story makes any sense at all. At this point, even if she had gotten pregnant later on, there would be real signs of it. And there's just not. You know?

Not that I'm aware of. I know my brother has bought some things, I went with him to help him pick stuff out as a surprise for her a few months ago. A pnp, some clothes, a couple bottles. But that's it that I personally know of.

This is CRAZY! The sister in law sounds just like my cousin.   She faked a pregnancy and miscarriage to get my granny to give her money for the DnC (which she really used to buy useless smurf and alcohol..) Ironically enough, OP, we both live in KY and I don't have anything to do with her anymore, so anything is possible. Hahah.
