wow, she sounds really crazy. My mom faked a pregnancy, told her ex boyfriend she was pregnant then pretended to be me and told him that she died in childbirth and I took the baby to another country.

That's why I mentioned saying she was my sister, they're not giving me any information by simply telling me, yes she's there or no she's not. Kwim? And all I would have to do is say, "Maybe I have the wrong number or something." But he was already out of his office when I called anyways. So I didn't talk to anyone, just his answering service.

Technically they shouldn't confirm if she is there because that's confirming she's a patient. I worked in admissions in a hospital we couldn't confirm or deny a patient was there

I don't think outside people are obligated to maintain confidentially or Comply with HIPAA standards if they're just a regular person, but health staff/ social workers/ anyone with client info has to.
They'd be in big trouble if they gave out that info.

No she didn't get help. When I found out about it she went nuts and acted like I was this horrible person for telling the guy it was all a lie. I don't have anything to do with her anymore. I don't want someone like that around my kids.

That's just so smurfed up. I bet she will fake a stillbirth though. There is no way she is pregnant, and no way will she be willing to steal a baby unless she is crazy. Plus, now a days hospital have like those wrist bands you have to wear, PLUS security too. So there is no way.

That's sad. I feel so bad for your brother..

I thought you were calling as her not about her. They might tell you if she was/wasn't there but most likely won't. Maybe next time ur at the doctors mention that ______ is your sister in law & see if the dr says anything. Me & my mom had the same dr & she would ask how my mom was doing when I had my appts
