excited but nervice

omg i just started thinking i havent had an altro sound yet and wont till im 20 weeks. What if all this time u think u r having on and u find out ur having twins or somthing. lol i think i might freak out lol what would be ur reaction?
p.s. let cross our fingers its only one in there lol

I think with the position I am in right now of becoming a single mom id cry and cry and cry. Maybe tell them they counted wrong? LOL

At one of my doctor appointments that happened. I was waiting on the doctor and I hear in the next room "Oh! There's the baby!..Oh..there's another one! It's twins!!! Wait, OMG! It's triplets!!!"
I was like holy crap!

Anyway, I would have freaked if I had twins, lol, but I think I would have loved it too.

You will know if you are having twins or not when they listen to the babys heart beat at your ob visits. You dont need an ultrasound to know that in most cases. Plus your hcg levels would be higher.

Well I had an initial u/s done at 7 or 8 weeks, so they were able to see the grain sized baby alright and I knew matter of fact I was having one. However, for sake of this thread IF I didn't get an u/s done until 20 weeks I'd be just as happy with twins as I would with a single.
