hi ladies, im curious about the weight gain in pregnancy
my pre preg weight was 104 and now im 137 .. this is my first pregnancy and i was wondering if the weight will come down after delivery. many ppl have told me that it will fall off because im all belly and some say it will stick.. idk, i want to get a belly bandit to help my belly get back to normal size.. i was a size 1 to 3 in pants and now im like a 4/5 or 5. and my butt is huge and its hard for me to fit into anything but spandex my SO said it looks like i have booty shots and i find the really disturbing
how long after your pregnancy did you get back to your normal weight.
did anyone use a postpartum wrap? if so which wrap would you prefer?

Everyone is different. By 3 weeks I was back to my PP weight.

With my first I did retain about 20 pounds of the 70 I gained but the 40-50 pounds I did lose I lost within 2 weeks of having him and I didn't really do anything. It did take a while for my skin to tighten back up, though. I doubt that will be the case with this one

Some people the weight falls off and some it doesnt. Breastfeeding will help it come off.
It didnt for me, I am still working on getting it off with a lot of exercise and eating healthy. IMO the belly bandit does nothing and is a waste of money, some people swear by it though.

It really depends on genetics, how active you were before pregnancy, are now, and will be after, plus what you eat. I gained 50 lbs during my pregnancy, and lost 30 of it right away. The rest I had to work off by diet/exercise. And I never used a wrap.

Oh, and I gained about 17 lbs.

You have to figure at least 10 to 15lbs of that is baby/placenta/amniotic fluid/ and retained water/extra blood volume. You're going to lose a lot of it. What probably will take a while is your belly. It takes a little while for your belly to deflate. It doesn't just go away instantly once you have a baby. Around 6 months pp, your belly should look roughly like it did when you were 3 months prego and about a year for it to be almost normal. It took you 9 months to grow into the shape you are now, expect at least 9 months to go back to normal.
If you have a c-section or anything like that, expect it to take a little longer and honestly, my stomach has never been the same. I wouldn't stress about it now though. That's only going to make you feel worse in the last month of pregnancy.

With every single pregnancy, I lose weight... So I'm actually 20lbs less now than I was last year at this time lol.
You'll lose about 20lbs in fluid and baby and placenta, but you'll have fat stores for breastfeeding. A lot of women lose weight while nursing because those fat stores are being used.
It really all depends. My mom was 97 pounds when she got pregnant with my brother. She went up to almost 200lbs, and hasn't ever gotten below 140 since then.
