bf-ing issue

Day before yesterday DS went into an eating frenzy & wanted to nurse every 15 minutes for a 4 hour period. He has continued a slightly more spaced out regimen & my nipples are so sore from him gumming them. I have palmers nursing butter & medela lanolin. Is there anything else I can do to take the soreness away. He's possibly teething as well so any tips for when he cuts a tooth would be nice lol

If you're sore, likely he got lazy with his latch. Make sure he's opening wide enough.. Then even with frequent bf.. You shouldn't get sore

Her baby's not a month old yet...it took my nipples a good 6 weeks to get toughened up.

OP, just keep applying the lanolin liberally and stick it out and soon it will be painless.   Of course a bad latch can definitely hurt so make sure he's really on there!

your baby is probably having a growth spurt my son does this ever now and then he just eats and eats
i bought the gel cups that go over your nipples to help the soreness
