I really think its normal not to hear it to early. My doctor said she doesn't listen to them until 13 weeks or so. I didn't get to hear the heartbeat until 17 weeks from my OB- I just bought my own Doppler.. Granted I did get an ultrasound at 11 weeks.

Yeah, my doc said 13 weeks would be when she would listen. And I'll be getting another ultrasound at 20 weeks I think she said. And she nan igans, I am more or less comfortable with my dr. I guess I'm just a little confused about it seeing as I got to listen to my son's at 9 or 10 weeks. But every doctor is different

Amen girl   I am ten weeks today my and obgyn did mine with his doppler   took forever to fund it but sure enough it was there he found mine then found babies  Switch ... thats dumb my doc didnt want to do it last week becuase i was only 9 weeks ... so ya hang in there

i was 7 weeks and 5 days during my first ultra sound to confirm pregnancy we saw the heart beating and heard it on the Doppler at 10 weeks ,if my dr would refuse my request i would find someone else that person isnt looking out for you interest or your baby's u will have a difficult time with that ob
