Candle Making.

Hey anyone out there ever make soy candle and pour them straight into mason jars?
I heated up my jars before putting the wax into them to avoid the wax separating from the jar but now that the candle is compelatly dry it is cracked on the top?
Any quick tips to fix it, Im a little nervous about messing with them to much they are supposed to be christmas presents.
