My dd was 6 when I was pregnant with her younger sister. She kept saying it was a girl I kept saying a boy. lol She was right.

She wanted me to name her. Marshmallows pickles teeth, which well we di dnot use of course. lol

My last lo, my two older girls who were 3.5 and 9.5 at the time both said girl and they were both right. lol

I've never been pregnant with an older kid, just gave birth to a newborn once.

As for the other thing, my daughter guessed girl and was right.

My son told everyone I was having another boy but I think it had more to do with the fact that he wanted a brother very bad and less to do with intuition lol.

lol My DD turns 2 on January 1st, so I'm not really sure if she understand or not. I want a boy but she keeps telling everyone she's having a sister.

My child is just 2 next week and he can hardly understand the concept of a baby in me, and he is very smart. I find it hard to believe that children less than 2 are guessing genders which means they have a deep understanding of their mother being pregnant.

My DD #1 said long before I was even preggo that she thought that she was having a little sister born on her bday (12/19). DD #2 will be born 12/17, (planned c-section), but could have been born on DD #1's bday. Their due dates were only 1 day apart.

My 5 yr old was with me the day we found out the gender to our bun in the oven. I would always tell her it was a boy so she went along with it. But when it came down to the real deal she said, " mommy I'm going to have a sister." I said,"why do u think that?" she said, " I just know!" Sure enough she was right and now she's patiently awaiting for her arrival.
