I think he's getting you something, he's just hiding it better.   If you agreed that you will be exchanging gifts with each other and he doesn't get you anything, that's smurffy....but I think you may have to wait till Christmas to find out.

take some of his gifts back and buy yourself something. lol

You can't make him buy you something. I would feel like smurf if he bought his mom a bunch of stuff and didn't even treat me to a date night or something!?

I'd feel worse for you if I wasn't wondering if I'll be able to afford something for dinner tonight.

Money is not an issue for us... my husband is just insensitive at times   plenty to eat

First of all--- dude, it's not Christmas yet. You don't know that he didn't buy you a gift.



But second of all..... I wouldn't want to buy you smurf when your theory is spent "tons of money on you, now better buy me things"! Gifts should be given for their own sake, not to receive something in return. IMO, of course.

I just think it's so petty to complain that someone didn't buy you anything. All it is is stuff. If you can't be satisfied without getting gifts that's really sad.

I havent had a christmas gift since I was 15 yrs old. Every yr I buy for the kids dad and get nothing in return. Even tho we always agree on it. I have never felt bad or whined or complained.

I am just happy that I gave out gifts to others.

Awww I am sure he is just going to surprise you!! Don't sweat it too much!
