insomnia during pregnancy.

this is a big issue for me, as well as a lot of other pregnant ladies i'm sure. my dr told me to take melatonin, and i did once until i realized that it's not good to take. i watched dr oz about it lol.
last night i woke up every 15 mins wondering when my baby will come lol. i keep putting the thought in my head that he'll come early. maybe i'm so anxious that it's causing me not to sleep.
have you ladies figured out ways to get you to fall asleep? (i'm using a body pillow, but it hasn't helped)

I hate to say it, but there really isn't any "fix" for this. I had a terrible time with it from about half way through my pregnancy right up until I had him. The best thing to do is rest, and sleep when you can...even if it's during the day, if you get tired lay down. Even a 15 minute nap is better than nothing.,

Benadryl
I take 1/2 every night and it helps me relax but doesn't full on knock me out (I have a 3 year old and I work full time). If you're in pain, you can take Tylenol PM which is Tylenol and (basically) Benadryl. It might not knock you out cold for the night but it sure will help you get some rest.

I told my doctor that I've been having really bad anticipation. To the point where my heart rate jumps into the 100s. He told me to take benedryl for it so I can relax and sleep. But don't get the Rexall brand, it doesn't work! lol.
