birth marks?

Are they hereditary? I have one on my arm, SO has one on his thigh and I recently noticed DD has one on her butt :')

Idk. My son doesn't have any!

A lot of people have them so I'm gonna say no

My DD has a mongolian spot on her butt. At first I thought it was a bruise from sitting in her car seat (lol 1st time mommy) but her pedi assured me it was just a birth mark & would probably disappear as she got older.

What's the difference between a birth mark and a beauty mark?


I have 1 on my shin (sp?) That looks kind of like a bruise. SO and both of my girls have them on the back of their heads but are red. They practically match.

I don't think so.

I have a huge strawberry one on my arm, SO has a chocolate one on his leg, and so far..nothing on LO.

Beauty spots are those brown things I think lol? I have several. Birth marks are like patches of skin that are a different colour to the rest of you? I think... Haha

i have a huge stamp shaped one on my stomach and my son has a giant one on his butt. Shaped like a tree. I was under the impression EVERY ONE has a birthmark somewhere. Didnt know people didnt have them lol

Yeah pretty much a mole! I have one right above my lip on the right side.

Oh,really? My shin has a beauty mark,looks like a really tan spot.


I have a beautiful shin!

I have a very faint very light blue line on the top of,my nose where it and my forehead meet. So does both of my boys. My brother has a mole on his inner thigh that 2 cousins also have and our grandfather had all in the same spot and about the size of a silver dollar.

Yeah, like a mole but not raised off the skin.

So it seems that it is for some people but not for others? Weird lol

my toddler has one right above his pee pee but my 3 month old doesnt have one at all so i dont think its hereditary cause alot of people have them
