I will be unhappy too if I make my scheduled appointment on the 26th.. but my doctor is firm set against me going past 41.. but the positive is that I can feel pretty confident that I will not go past new years.. Just for the pure fact of math. .. and given 41 weeks is on a holiday I would say new years eve. .. at the latest

Yeah my doc stripped my membranes today and says "now go into labor melissa" as if its that easy

Ugh I am feeling so pissed off today, not sure why. I haven't been sleeping, I have had cramps on and off since Thanksgiving, and I just kind of feel like I'll never have this fricken baby lol. We're having people over for dinner tonight and I just want to hide in the bedroom and sleep. Anyone else get this pissy towards the end of the pregnancy? It doesn't help that my neighbors smoke so many smurfing cigarettes that I can smell it through my walls and it is making me so sick.

I know how you feel! I was down right homicidal the last few days of my pregnancy. I'm being so nice that my husband is actually scared!

good luck to you too.. i'll start walking this weekend. i'm ok with finishing the week at work (even though I dont really want to). my other kids have to catch a flight on Christmas Eve to go see their dad so I guess it would be good if im not in the hospital then. could be a challenge getting them there... lol

Well ladies heres an update on me...basically nothing happened after my membranes were stripped...some cramping that eventually went away thats all. I had my NST test done and they also ordered an u/s. My fluid level went from a 13 to 8.5 in a week and also the babys estimated weight was 9lbs 7oz--I almost smurf myself when she said this. Granted ok it can be off a pound but what if its actually reading less than her weight. So I went to work last night and only made it half a shift due to excruciating "crotch" pains--its ok because tonight was my last night on the schedule anyway. But I slept until 1pm after I got the kids off to school this morning and when I woke up I have mild cramping and some red/brown mucous like stuff on the toilet paper after I went pee. Not alot but some. This better be the start of something I cant do this much longer. Anyone else progressing anymore????

so im at work bored.. and we have a fitness center outside.. im thinking of going out to walk the treadmill or elliptical... i have been a lazy butt this whole pregnancy (aside from coaching my daughters softball team until Oct/NOv)..

how many minutes or what pace would be a safe place for me to start???

Okay so i had an appointment yesterday and im almmmost a three and 65% thinned out and had my membranes scrapped and i walked all day yesterday but now it doesnt feel like anything is really happening... i have had contractions and all but nothing real painful and my mom wants me to go get checked but i feel like i would be wsting my time.... soooo.... im going to go walking ...a lot again tomorrow.

Good luck...seems like there's just a few of us left with Christmas due dates. I had a pregnancy massage today and she hit some pressure points but she told me if he's not here in 24 hours that hes probably gonna be a while longer.
