Potty issues

He's been pooping in the potty the past three days without issues, but asking for a diaper to poop in today. Is he just testing me or is do I really need to give him a diaper? Will he eventually just go if I don't give in? I don't want him holding it and hurting his tummy. He refuses to poop in his undies, but I took those off too for now since he keeps mentioning poop...

If he has been pooping in the potty I would not give him the diaper, take him potty or keep him close to it.

Light is on in the bathroom and the potty is easily accessible right there where he can get to it next to his bedroom, but he just keeps telling me "No, diaper Mom". I keep telling him he's a big boy and we don't poop in our diapers anymore. I sure hope convincing him works. I might need to set up a toy bucket or something to convince him that when he poops in the potty, he can have a toy. Candy isn't working as bribery.

I would try that. If you give him the diaper back now he'll know that he can just ask you for it all the time
