re: what worked for you!?..

just gotta say this, because it bothers me that sooo many moms on here are bitchy and whiny about not going into labor early. WHAT THE F@@K is wrong with you. When its time, it's time. You just have to wait, or get some fricken patience. . let nature do it's course. it's just so ridiculous how much bitching is done. I can't stand it.

Too bad its not a labor inducer. It softens the cervix.

why do you think baby wont come? i showed no signs of labour at 39 weeks, but my beautiful girl arrived at 39+4 weighing 7lb 9oz, i just simply woke up and was in labour, but i know they may recommend sex, walking, or nipple simulation, but waiting for baby to come by its self is going to be the easiest to be honest xxxx

As most of the other ladies said ...

You are TERM...not FULL TERM .

Let it be, the baby will come when ready. You can't possibly know if he or she will come late, because you're not even there yet.

Don't pray for a "Term" baby. You want full term, trust me.

My Son was born at 37 weeks, and although he was healthy, he still had a pretty immature CNS, and barely opened his eyes for the first week or two. Every single day counts at the end, they do a WHOLE LOT of developing in those last weeks.

it worked for you?! i tried it and only got sore so i gave up after like...5 minutes haha

you're one of the lucky ones! i have all the signs of being ready but LO refuses to press the "eject" button

i told the midwife i've been having painful cramping for days, more frequent urination, nausea, back pain, more discharge. she said it all sounds just like "pre-labor" and could mean any day now.

so naturally...i've been excited.

pre labor signs =/= ready to go into labor. That was my point   You could have pre labor signs for 3-4 weeks.

i went to a pregnancy class last week and they said nothing really works (castor oil, raspberry tea, walking) but i was reading and nipple stimulation could help, and sex (semen) only softens your cervix.

i'm getting my membranes swept on my due date.. i heard that it usually works within' 48 hours.

I had all that starting at 35 weeks and they kept telling me "Oh any day now" Once I hit 37 weeks. I was induced at 41 weeks. So don't get too excited

all these symptoms LITERALLY just kicked in a week and a half ago. and of course, so close to my due date, i'm like...jumping for joy haha regardless if it means i could go a lot longer.

thankfully, she offered to do a membrane sweep on thursday and i'm hoping it works before christmas so i don't have to be induced.

NOTICE: i know i don't HAVE to be induced, but their standard here is 10 days and i have full trust in my midwife
