and now I feel like a bitch..

So I thought my fiance was cheating on me (earlier post).. Last night me and my friend went to his work because he told me he was going to be late. We followed him when he got off. He went to Walmart and a few other places. After he fell asleep I snuck his phone out of his pocket and snooped through it. He has his bank account linked to his phone so I started looking through that as well.. he was buying Christmas presents... I found the receipts he hid... Now I know what everyone is getting and I feel like a bitch... Damn... He didnt have to be all secretive about it... I mean not as secretive as he is being.. I feel pretty stupid. But yeah.. I just wanted to update everyone.

Im glad he wasn't cheating, but now you gotta be extra nice =)

You not only thought he was cheating, but enlisted the help of your friend? That's so not cool. You should have just talked with him. Told him to tell you what he's doing and tell him your suspicions.

I think I skimmed through it before. He was viewing ads on CL about meeting up with girls. I seriously can't stress it enough, communication is key. I have a hard time with it still, but I know it's one of the most important things in a relationship.

She had already confronted him and he said it was nothing. But I totally agree with you. I wouldn't have gone all out by stalking him after work   Sorry but that's just crazy. I would be pissed if my SO did that smurf to me plus taking my phone when I was sleeping. You wanna see it? Ask. If he says no then he doesn't trust you enough.

Yeah thats the one. When I tried talking to him he said he is stressed. He wouldnt say anything else. Even when I confronted him about the craigslist incident he said he was just curious.. I didnt know what else to do.. I had tried talking to him so many times and all I would get back is "im just stressed. Nothings up." And he would walk away.

I bet alot of insecure people think their spouse is cheating during the holiday season because their being secretive about Christmas presents.

My DH ruins Christmas for himself every year because I try to be sneaky and get his Christmas present without him noticing.

Im not insecure by any means. The secretiveness started the same time I found him looking up girls on craigslist. Thats suspicious. If this would have happened any other time of the year I would have been suspicious

Everyone says to confront, but honestly most people revert to snooping. If they aren't going to tell you straight up, then look and walk off. I have an open rule policy with my phone and vice versa with my man. I'm not gonna get pissed he searched it when I'm sleeping. I have nothing to hide and I never say behind anyone's back what I can't say to their face.

I think it's funny and show my man if someone tries to flirt with me or hit on me. We have a very secure relationship because we can be so open. I know some people get upset because it's their phone, but seriously? We both pay the bills. It's just a phone. And I have nothing to hide.

  Same with my husband and I. We have nothing to hide, and we regularly go through each others stuff just for the hell of it, because we can. We don't see it as his or mine, everything is ours, so pretty much gives us the right. Half the time I tell him to check my phone just cause I'm too lazy!

Mine always lays his phone down and loses it, so he uses mine. I make him a horrible facebook status occasionally. Hahaha. It evens out! He's even read my facebook messages and replied for me.
