Thanks for the ideas!

Have the tech write down what you are having and put it in an envelope then open it together once he is home.

I would have to wait a month! lol He's gone for a month & then comes back for a few days, then leaves again.

But, it'd be cute to know together.

I thought about that, but he won't be home for a month. I so couldn't have a piece of paper in my house saying what the baby was & not open it! lol

This is what I'm doing   but I only have to wait 3 days and even that seems too long!!

Is there any way you could video record it? Would they allow that?

Then give it to a friend to hold on to until he comes back...

I think if he can't come my Mom is going to record it on her phone & send it to him. I really want him to be there but I'm trying not to work myself up about it. I know some people don't see it as a big deal, but it is to me. When do you find out?

If it is such a big deal, why not do the envelope thing?

I would do that but, have someone hold it for me. I'd want to know together and be surprised together.

Because he won't be home for a month! I can't schedule my appointment for a month from now, if I miss my chance to get it done now I can't find out until around 30wks, if the doctor wants to look.

I go on Dec 21st and we're finding out Christmas eve! It's a 3d one I booked. Then I go soon after that for a regular one to check up on my bloodclot/bruise

Mine is on the 8th. Luckily my Mom is coming because DH isn't.
