period after misscarrige

I was 5weeks and 4days pregnant when I misscarried.
The hospital rang me and said that my hormone levels was right down at 40. Witch should of bin a lot higher as the pregnancy before that was at 730.at the same stage. I no my period would re apear when its dropped below 5. And last time it took 4weeks to see my next period. Its bin 3weeks and still nothing. I still feel pregnant.
I keep getting really bad hart burn am eaten a lot more then normal and tired all the time. And also still have really bad mood swings. And the only time I've had any of this was when I was pregnant.
When will I get my period and why do I still feel pregnant.x

Was the level of 40 the only count they did? Each pregnancy is different. Maybe you were earlier than you thought. Maybe ask for another blood test.

I did a clearblue test and told me 3weeks. Witch was a week before I did the bloods. Yes the only test they did and I had a lot of blood and clots. Am sure that am not still pregnant. I no I lost the baby. I'm booked in at doctors wednesday but I'm really unsure what's going on.x

That's sad. I'm sorry to hear that. I would suggest though getting them to do another HCG count. I've heard of other mom's who have had heavy bleed with clots and cramps and everything turned out fine.

I just had a miscarriage on the 6th. I was 5 weeks 3 days with hcg level of 21. They told me I should bleed for a few days to a couple weeks from the miscarriage, then another 4 weeks till my next regular period. So up to 6 weeks total before I got a period again. She said a full 8 weeks in some cases. I have to go for blood work today to make sure my levels are going down or are gone.

They should have given you a date to go get your levels checked again to make sure the levels are going down, If they are going up it means that there could be tissue still inside and you would need a D&C or it could cause an infection.

I've started to think that its my fault. I've misscarried twice now and scared to get pregnant again and loose another baby.I want a baby so much and it hurts when I fall pregnant and have to loose another. I fort evrything would be okay this time and it wasn't
