So stupid.

posted 10th Dec
My dumbarse pregnant self was about to put a load of washing on but DH asked me to find something for him so I put down the washing with my phone on top, found what he wanted, grabbed the washing and chucked it all in the machine. I started tidying up and five minutes later I realised what I had done and it was too late, the water had filled the machine. IM DEVASTATED! I do not have money to buy a new iphone let alone any phone! Why do bad things keep happening to me???

pull it apart as much as you can
then when its dryish but it in a plastic bag with rice in it

you may have to leave it in for a few days

then take the phone out , put it back together and hopefully its working

they had a segment on one of our morning shows and this is what they said to do

Leave it in the rice for a minimum of two days. Do not I repeat DO NOT try to turn it on any sooner as you will risk frying the circuits!

You can't take an iphone apart (well you aren't supposed to) Just leave it in rice for 2-3 days and see if that helps.

The problem is that is was on at the time and afterwards it was going mental and turning on and off and getting really hot.

You can't take an Iphone apart without breaking it. Yep I did it with my old phone.
And the rice thing doesn't even work, tried it also, with so many phones.

I did that with a brand new phone less then a week old I put in front of the heater and after 30 mins I was able to use it again. Good thing to cause my husband was at work when it happened and I went into labor and that was the only way for me to call him and he wouldn't of been home until morning.

Yes you can. You just have to know what you're doing.

OP, go to Youtube and find a tutorial. My DH has taken apart a bunch of iPhones and put them back together fine. You'll need some precision screwdrivers.
