I'd be pissed if I sent DD to pre school and they played all day. I get learning through play but TV? Nope. Sorry, she can do that smurf at home.

Well when you swear up and down that i only spend ten minutes per subject with my child the whole day
that he plays more than he learns
that he wont learn anything by my template...at all
Yeah its not advice its just talk especially if you refuse to see how theres more than 10 minutes in each subject besides spanish. and that theres also Freestyling the rest of the day..

You skipped alot of what I said on my template to try to "prove" something.
You didnt see the fact that he plays for maybe 45 minutes-1hr throughout the day.
As a homeschooler you dont have to go by the regular "cut" of the things done in PS. Thats the great thing as a homeschooler and also teaching my child to his full potential.

I'm not snotty, but I wont allow someone to tell me something I said is different than whats obviously in writing

Its along with their snack time. As you can also read later and actually on the first post its an educational video that has usually been revolved around history.

Popcorn doesnt hinder learning lol

Educational video or not why not have a snack time then movie or just skip the movie and actually interact and talk and teach.

I didn't say it was. I, however, am not sending my child to school to sit and watch TV all day.

What is the point of school when you have The Magic School Bus?

Lol because I do it all day
BOOM

Watching the video doesnt hurt when they are learning something that some kids dont learn til 4th and 5th grade.
They do it schools to make a subject come alive or a powerpoint.

tell me where I do not interact with my child ?

Did I say Magiv School bus lol
Plus btw that show is awesome.

No my children have a series of videos they go through thats sent out bi-weekly covering the subject of history or a subject I may have in the future trouble teaching or needing assistance with.
With History videos they enjoy the visual and the way its laid out. It keeps them entertained yet they learn something everyday.
So um yeah...
When did you get the impression I said show when I said HISTORY?Where did you get my curriculum from that you know exactly what material I am using?

I was using it as an example. Your child has a very VERY small amount of focused learning time and more time in front of the TV. I don't mind educational videos to help drive a point home but seriously? I am in college 4 hours a day and I don't get to spend 3 of it watching movies.

2 hrs for a kid testing higher than his old peers..
Yup.
I think its good to go.
Why dnt you take on the challenge of keeping a 4 yr old still for that amount of time with advanced work that hes just gotten the swing of within a month on my schedule before you discredit it. You also dont know I am pregnant and with 2 other kids besides him. If I can prove the system wrong then I know I have already proven your statements wrong.
