BB Pellet size lumps in breast

Back in 2008 I had to have a breast biopsy because I had bloody discharge from my nipple that showed up abnormal, orange peel skin, redness, fever, and dough like skin. Everything came back normal, but they said they would need to watch it because I had symptoms for breast cancer. I have not been checked since I was pregnant with my daughter. It's hard to get an appointment on a day my husband is off work.

So last week I noticed that same breast was swollen, sore , feeling very solid, and that I had three bb sized knots under the skin. The lymphnodes under that arm and around my neck on that side are also swollen. The knots are not zits, but very hard lumps. They look and feel like flesh colored bbs. This week I had out of town company, so I didn't bring it up to my husband until tonight. He is a little freaked that it could be bad news and wants me to go to the doctor asap.

Obviously I am going to make an appointment to get a mammo, but I was wondering if anyone else had this. If so, what was the outcome? Hoping its just some weird hormonal thing and nothing serious. I am not worried, but curious. It would be nice to have a good story to tell him to calm his nerves.

I have had a few lumps removed the first when I was 15. I get clusters often, two have been removed and a few broke up on there own. This time I have a tumor and a melanoma (all non cancerous)on the same breast that I am going to have to get removed.
Good luck I hope all goes well for you, don't stress to much untill you have seen a doctor as there are so many reasons for lumpy breasts.

Yeah I am not stressed, but my hubs is. He gets worried about my health because I already have pre cancerous cells removed every three months from my cervix. They are super tiny and don't move, so that kind of freaks him out. I told him it may be scar tissue working its way to the top or a stitch that never melted trying to poke through. I feel bad for him though, so I was trying to find him a happy story to calm him. Thank you.

Thank you hun.   Ben finally calmed down. I am dreading going to the doctor though. The mammos hurts so bad last time and the waiting stinks.   I am a sissy about having my boob smooshed. LOL! Thank you though. I am sure nerves will kick in just before the appointment and I am positive I will be calling to calm my nerves.
