Got pushed in my stomach hard, is it bad?

I know its probably ok cause babies are pretty well protected but my husband and I were arguing and he got real mad at took my iPad and shoved it into my tummy hard.. Kinda knocked the wind outa me.. What are the chances of damage to my fetus at 19 ish weeks. I have a dr appt tomorrow?

You're probably fine, but leave him! He is abusive.

Baby should be ok but I would go in to make sure and make sure I tell them what happened and file a report. That's just me though. What an smurf.

Thanks ladies. Just to be real honest here I have left him before but end up back every time. I have major self worth issues and I just don't think I can leave and stay away right now. I am a weak person to say the least I guess. I just hope my baby is ok that's all I care about. I hope I can just tell the dr I fell on my tummy cause he will be with me at the appointment and I don't want any legal issues.

Leave him. If you think he will change when the baby comes he won't. Nothing is going to stop him from taking his frustration out on your baby either. If he hurts you bad enough child protective services will take your baby from both of you.

My SO accidently kicked my belly and Silas is fine (he meant to playkick my boob, like stop the kick before it hit yknow, but i moved and flinched at the same time and he ended up kicking my belly.) but go in if you are really worried.

Get the hell out and report it. Youre going to need the evidence when it comes down to custody issues

You're going to stay until you leave... there is no way anyone can talk you into leaving unless you want to. I wish there was something I could say to make you understand you are worth more, you deserve more and that you are so much stronger than you think...

but I've been there. And when people ask, "why did you stay so long" I honestly don't have an answer.... I just didn't think I could ever leave.

But, when the time comes that you do leave, you are going to wonder why you stayed so long, and why you allowed him to do that to you. You are going to realize that you are strong, independent and worthy of respect.

I just hope that you leave before he harms you permanently; either by causing a miscarriage, scarring you or, dare I say it, taking your life.

If you care so much about your baby then you need to leave him. Do you really want your child to grow up around that?

Yes. If it is bad enough that the you go to the hospital or your child witnesses it it can be considered child endangerment. It's the stupidest law but I wanted you to know. So you don't end up where I have been

as far as they're concerned you put the child in that danger. You need to talk to your parents, a supoort group or something to get out or you can lose that child. When you go in today find a way to be alone with a nurse or something.
