to the SAHMs out there....

I would like to take a second to give all of you credit for what you do! I work full time and part time.....and I personally would love to stay home with my son but unfortunately it doesn't work out that way for my little family. But even if it did, I dont know if I could do it! you moms that stay home must have alot of patience ! I love my almost 10 month old to death but I honestly dont think I would be able to stay at home w him all day everyday. I'd go nuts! haha. do u sahms enjoy staying home? Do u lose your mind sometimes? Do u wish u work? What do u do to keep yourself from going nuts? Do u go places with your children instead of actually staying in the house all day?

I do loose my mind sometimes, you have to have A LOT of patience to be a SAHM i wish i could work sometimes though. I just try to take it each day at a time so i dont get too overwhelmed.

I don't want to stay home. I have no choice right now. I want to work. I go on BG alot when she's sleeping. And no I don't. I never go out of the house. But I also have anxiety where I get panic attacks bad when contemplating going out of the house.

Hehe i love it!!! Yes, i go crazy sometimes but I'm glad I can stay at home and raise my son the way I want   no offense to you tho! Sometimes we go to the park, sometimes my brothers house so my DS can play w my niece, sometimes just to Walmart to get outta the house!!

i have an almost 2 year old and a 2 month old. i love it. when its nice out we go places or play outside. but its winter so were kinda stuck inside :/

I love staying home with my daughter. But I'm completely in awe of women that can work and be a mommy. That sounds so hard to me! We stay home most of the time cause we're a one car family. We go within walking distance of our house most days. We're about to start going to a mommy and me class once a week to meet other babies and mommies. It's frustrating not being able to go a lot if places without the car. But I love being able to nap! How do you do it without one? I've always wondered lol

my son drives me up the one at least once a day lol but i wouldnt trade staying home with him for anything. iv been home with him seen he was born. i never had to miss anything. i was able to breastfeed for over a year. hopefully ill be just as blessed once my daughter is born

I like it, but I get so overwhelmed at times I wish I could get a job just to get away, even if it was just a few hours for 2-3 days a week. I have no friends so I get lonely staying at home all day long, not around people. But on the plus side, I don't have to worry about anyone improperly taking care of my son.

I'm on the verge of going insane some days,but it's worth it.

I dont lose it as much now that DD is older, but being at home 24/7 with little to no help during the baby phase is rough. I'm thinking I might go back to work after this LO to save my sanity! Plus some adult company for more than an hour a day would be so nice.

I came from never really getting to see my son. I worked full time (50 hours typically) on a rotating schedule. 5 on 3 off 4 times then 4 on 4 off 3 times. Which really turned into 6 on 2 off and 5 on 3 off. It sucked. Getting to come home and stay with my baby was a dream come true, except I suddenly was alone all the time. My inlaws are not fun to hang with (I call my MIL Smurfy Bitch....) So its been an adjustment always being alone. Other then that I loved it.

I am home with the kids all day but i work at night, so i know not really the same thing as being a SAHM. but besides not being there when they sleep from 11pm-7am im with them all the time. I love being able to spend all day with them and we do different things, we go play outside or do stuff inside and sometimes we go to the store or the park.
