To Test or Not to Test?

Lately, my nipples have been sore. Today it hurt to even wear a bra. However, my breast arent swollen at all. I have been occasionally nauseous (some days really bad), but thats nothing new.
I havent got my period, but my period has always been irregular (sometimes its 3 weeks apart and 2 days long, other times its 4 1/2 weeks and last a week). Its been atleast 5, probably 6 weeks since my last one.
I have an IUD and I know someimes that can change your cycle. The string has always been short, so Ive never checked it myself to make sure its still in.
SO and I use no other kind of birth control. But in 4 years, the IUD has always been reliable.

Does it seem like Im reading to much into it and psyching myself out
or
should I test OR wait to test?

Has the IUD ever changed your cycle before?
If you've had it four years and it's just now changing,
You should probably test.
The earlier you find out, the better.

My first year I didnt have a period at all, but since then Ive gotten one, its just irregular

I would Just test, at least your mind will be at ease once you do. If you want to be 100% sure go see your GP and get a blood test done ASAP.

I would test, if you ArE preggo you need to get that thing out ASAP so it doesnt cause problems

I just wanted to make sure I wasnt psyching myself out since we'll be starting to TTC next month anways.
