Question about leaking.

I know that not everyone experiences the "gush" when their water breaks. I believe i lost my mucous plug a couple of days ago. Right now i am kinda wetting my panties bit by bit. I can feel some liquid come out( not enough to tickle down my leg). I also feel like i kinda need to pee and just a little bit comes out( i pee alot when i go normally). I have read on other post that the thing to do is put a pad or panty liner on and wait for it to get soaked enough to go to l&d, so thats what im doing..... Anyone gone through this, advice?

when mine broke with my daughter it was only a little bit thanks to her big ol head being so low it stopped the big leak lol...is there any color or odor to it...fluid is suppoed to be clear and smell free...it could poss be just discharge to as they tends to get bad for somewomen towards the end...and you dont have to have a soaked pad..when I went in with my daughter they did not even use the pad the put the test strip right up to me   call L&D and see what they say  

No texture or smell what so ever. If it is my water, i will eventually start getting contractions right? I really dont want to make another trip to l&d. It was such an uncomfortable night. Also, i dont think it could be her head stopping or blocking. Dr said she was low but not enough because she's a "big baby". Supposedly she cant get too low and in position because it is uncomfortable for her( not fitting). I am also not dilated not thinning yet. ( this was all check on friday) could it have changed during the weekend?

my daughter was a big baby 8lbs 12oz and her head was low enough to stop the leak lol and with her I called L&D when I thought it was my water cuz I was not sure and they told me to come in and get tested so I did and they admited me...I went 12 hours with no contractions as labor did not start on its on so I was giving an iv to prevent infection and then they had to give me a pill to induce me...so not everyones body goes into labor on its own   I would just call them and see what they say as if it was clear and no smell like pee or anything weird it could have been your water and a lot of places like to monitor after your water breaks
