Cole Jr. born at 36 weeks 5 lbs 8 oz, 19.5 inches on December 5, 2011. Did good for the first half hour, then couldn't breath, was sent to Children's in St. Louis. Was there for 2 weeks, came home in time for Christmas

Before they airlfted him I got to see just a small part of his face, I was still trying to recover from the c-section



Later on after he arrived at the NICU, my mother in law went up there until I could be released



my first time holding him  


and now him at thanksgiving with my mom

She was put in the hospital at 4 weeks old? Just making sure I read that correctly, that must have been so scary for you. Happy to see she is as beautiful as can be now.

Hunter James.
Born at 34 weeks with sepsis and pneumonia. He was in the NICU for a little over 2 weeks, on life support for the first 8 days.

This is right before he was put on the vent.

1 day old here. He was swollen from all of the fluids.

His "cool" hair....lol the nurses all looooved his hair.


He's a, for the most part, healthy little 3 year old now.
