DH's name is David, the only nickname I have for him is Robert haha and that's his middle name. I only use it to either bug him or when he's irritated me lol. But that won't work in your case. He hates being called Dave btw!

lol! Yeah my friend thinks he wouldn't like the name Davy when he gets older.

My son is David and I have the same issue. I don't really have a nick name that comes from David that I like.

My DS is David Chad (David after his papa) we call him Chad. Why not call yours Ramon or Ray?

That's a good idea, I'm sure he'll earn one, my SO has been calling him Deezy. I don't know how I feel about that one yet.
