happened to me.
My dh kept saying she smelled like spit up. Well dd never spit up. I went to look under her neck and she had a ouchie looking rash. I put some desitin on it and it was gone the next day.

I used to put butt paste (diaper rash cream) under DDs neck when that would happen. She was a messsssyyyy eater and milk would get in those rolls no matter how well we cleaned her

DS got that when he was a teeny. I made a point to wash under his neck and then dry it very well. Afterwards, I'd put a little layer of diaper cream and powder under there. I also did my best to keep dry onesies/bibs on him because, he drooled so much that the collars of his shirts got wet.

I just started putting powder on my guy after his nightly bath under his neck, arms and knees to keep all those rolls dry! Desitin works great when I've used it always clears stuff up the next day!

The cotton balls would make me nervous. They're small enough for the baby to eat.

To be honest, I'm not sure. Corn starch is the better way to go anyway. No perfumes and less added stuff.

I had my son 7 weeks ago and was told not to ever use baby powder or corn starch (on a diaper rash) because they actually make bacteria worse..
