How would you feel if...

Someone was to ask you, "Do you and her get along (mother in law/your SO's mother)?" you say yes. Someone then tells that person what you cal them (if you get along with them) and that person starts literally bitching at you telling you what you should actually call them...

My moms friend, asked me this, and my mom tells her that I call her Mama. She starts saying "WHAT! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO CALL HER THAT!!!" And all sorts of smurf.
Even though my mom doesn't care that I call her that.
What would you do?

Do you call your mil or mom mama? Either way it doesn't matter you can call them what you want

yeah... I call Ev's dad mom. I hope to be close enough with this baby's dad's mom to call her mom too.

I call SOs Mom, Mom all the time.

I call my mom, mom.
my... well SO's mom, we aren't married yet, mama.
& I know that's how I feel about it.. I mean if my mom didn't like it I wouldn't call her that but my mom doesn't care she even said it herself.
