If your baby hasn't pooped in a while....

I was concerned because my son went from 6-8 dirty diapers a day to nothing. He went 27 hours yesterday without pooping, and finally released two diapers full at 2pm. Well today he still hadn't pooped since, and I just felt uncomfortable with it, so I looked up ways to get him to go. I came across a post on babycenter of this lady talking about "infant massage" that her sister recommended. She mentioned that it worked instantly, so I decided to try it out.
Sure enough, he went a tiny bit instantly after I finished the minute long massage. Half an hour later he completely filled up his diaper. (:

Rub one hand from the top of his left side ribs to the bottom of his tummy 15 times. Repeat on other side. Hold his legs up against his tummy in a sitting position for 15 seconds. Then rub your hand in a CLOCKWISE motion for 30 seconds, then hold his legs up for 15 seconds again. Repeat if you want, but I sure didn't have to!

I don't quite understand the directions.

Rub your hand down the left side of their body. Firm but not uncomfortably. Start near their shoulder and stop at the bottom of their tummy. Do this 15 times, then do it again with the right side of their body.
Hold their legs up as if your trying to help them release gas and hold their legs there for 15 seconds.
Then rub their tummy In a clockwise motion for 30 seconds.
Hold their legs up for another 15 seconds.
