I hate doctors..

Wednesday I took DD to the doctor because she had a pretty bad cough and just seemed to feel yucky.. The doctor said she had bronchialitis RSV (sp?? and I'm not sure that's how you pronounce it) and compared it to "baby bronchitis". She said there was nothing that could be done, but she'd be better in a couple days. Fast forward to Friday and she's getting worse. Wake up Saturday and she's literally whistling when she breathes and is like panting. Take her in to the after hours clinic and this doctor was like ummmm she has an obvious sinus infection and "raging" ear infection. She said there was no way she didn't have those Wednesday. She also gave her an inhaler for her RSV because asthma runs in my family and her dad has is it. She said at the very least she should have gotten a nebulizer Wednesday and antibiotics. I just feel like the first doctor didn't care about my kid at all. She even said she could hear wheezing, but it wasn't enough to be concerned. Uuugh...
I just feel bad for my baby... She's ALWAYS sick

My daughter had issues like this and it turned out to be allergies. Now all I have to do is give her allergy medicine in the spring and fall and she is fine. If she is always sick I'd be trying to find out why.

When my brother and sister had RSV they had to be hospitalized. I really hope she starts feeling better. Poor baby can't catch a break  

They did that smurf to me a few weeks ago. They said I just had bronchitis and gave me an inhaler and sent me on my way. Went back a week later feeling worse and was told I had a double ear infection, sinus infection, bronchitis, and a cold

I know   I hate it!! As soon as she gets better, she gets something else. I really want to take her out of daycare.

Poor you!! That seriously sucks!!
I'm hoping with being so sick now that when she's older she has a really good immune system...

Hopefully. I have always been sick.   Like you could literally mention someone getting sick and then the next week I have it  
But now I'm taking a smurf ton of vitamins and am going to the doctor on wed to talk about a possible thyroid issue. So hopefully being sick will come to an end soon.
My kids get sick a lot too. And people are always like "why are your kids always sick?/ It seems like your kids sure are sick alot"   Yes I know this.  
They eat healthy and get plenty of exercise. They just get sick a lot. Some people have really smurffy immune systems. It sucks but that doesn't mean you are doing anything wrong.

Hope your LO feels better soon and can stay sick free for a little while.

Thanks!! I literally am a crazy woman when it comes to keeping germs away from her. She has symptomatic sickle cell trait though and that in itself weakens her immune system. The doctor is hopeful that she will grow out of this. I was never sick as a baby (other than ear infections), always sick as a kid and now rarely ever sick.
Just gonna keep doing what I'm doing and hope for the best!!
