I smoke a bowl at night with my husband before bed (when I'm not pregnant) and during the day if I feel the need I'll take maybe three deep hits. That much doesn't make me sleepy or silly, just calm and focused. But now that I'm almost 19 weeks into this pregnancy the nausea has passed so I've left the pot behind for now.

I'm on effexor for depression, GAD, and OCD but I'm currently without insurance. But I just wish I knew how to use marijuana without becoming a sleepy ditzy lazy giggling idiot who is obviously high.

Have you tried a one hitter? So ou just get enough to calm you down versus making you stoned.

My buddy has one of those in her 'sneak a toke'. The way she packs it takes too much effort to smoke multiple ones lol.

It helped immeasurably with my PPD after dd was born. I needed to be on a low dose of Paxil for a few months too, because thats how bad it was. But the pot was an instant relief from the anxiety and awful that comes with severe PPD.

Well its legal here! But I see no reason for kids to know about it when they are very young IMO, that is for adults in adult time

I am not sure if any of you have seen anything about this 5 year old who take Medical Marijuana for seizures. They play it on the news here sometimes because I live near the place it is going on at. It is very interesting. This boy has a good Dad! Who will do anything to help his baby boy

I do think it's rather nifty that they're finding more and more medicinal uses for marijuana. I was on seizure medication but had to stop taking it when I got pregnant with LO because it increased the risk of being born with a cleft lip/pallet (I forget which one it was or if it were both).
Maybe before this is all over with, they can produce different strands of marijuana aimed to treat different things. That'd be bomb.
