going on 2 days of no talking

I am stubborn as hell lol. On Friday after I got off work I was telling SO’s mom about my night and SO was talking to his friends on xbox live and he turned around and told me to shut the hell up. I told him I was trying to tell him about my day so I continued and he turned around even louder and told me to shut the smurf up. I told him not to talk to me like that in front of our son and I guess his friends were laughing at him and he got super pissed about it. I don’t appreciate being talked to like that. I made spaghetti (his favorite) for dinner that night and his petty ass didn’t want any. So he went to bed not talking to me and still hasn’t lmao this was on Friday. He tried to be all cute and come sit next to me so I went and sat on the floor. I refuse to keep having him talk to me the way he does. Every time I try to tell him something that’s important to me before I can even finish he tell me he doesn’t care but I am expected to listen to everything he says. I am just so smurfing over it. I wan’t a damn apology. And then this is ssooo upsetting like I can’t believe how much this bothers me but it makes me almost hate him. All of a sudden he doesn’t believe in Christmas. I keep asking what we should get our 5 month old and he keeps saying that’s not what Christmas is about. I understand it’s not about presents but that’s what both of us were raised on he is just so smurfing cheap and wants his money so he can buy stuff for his car. My birthday is Christmas eve and I brought up what we should do and all I asked for was movie and a dinner. I want to see the hobbit and he said no smurfing way are we seeing that. He said “oh so now you expect a birthday and Christmas present.” I never asked for a Christmas present all I want is stuff for our son for his first Christmas. I’m sorry I just needed to get this out. I don’t need any leave him posts because it’s not going to happen lol

Why won't you leave him? He is sounding like he is emotionally abusive and doesn't give a damn about you or the kid

Also he has ptsd from being over seas but he refuses to get help so i can understand sometimes but I am just sick of it lately

I would NEVER allow someone I was with to talk to me that way. :/ That's really sad.

He is emotionally abusing you.

id unplug the xbox and see if he notices haha or like i did to my ex i canceled the yearly xbox subscription .. why pay for something i dont even use except when i went to see him and why pay for everyone else he adds on it..

It escalates. If he knows he can talk to you like that, it will get worse. Trust me.

Abuse isn't always physical, but it does almost always start with verbal and emotional

Then he realizes that he can treat you like that and you won't do anything

He'll make you dependant on him. Break you down. Make you think that there is no way out.

I'm not saying that he'll get that bad, but I'm also not saying that he WON'T get that bad

He needes help NOW. You need to decide how much abue is too much. You have a child to think about. Do you want your child to grow up thinking that verbal and emotional abuse is okay?

Do what I did...start getting your affairs in order right now. Make sure you have a job, place to live..make sure you can make it on your own. If I can do it, you can do it.
