My favorites are Echo,Esmeralda, Emmeline, Evelyn, Elowen, Elysia, and Eowyn.

My daughter's name is Elysia. It isn't too common (at least where we are).

We've always called her Elysia. My mom calls her Miss E. Haha.

Oh my goodness, that is funny you mention that. We get asked a lot if we call her Ellie! I just can't do it.

I could never do that. I actually put a lot of thought into how my children's names will have any bearing on them or their siblings. Matching initials is a No go for sure. Especially, when names are so close like Elliot and Eleanor.

It's bad enough that this baby has a good chance of matching me or my husband. Trust me, I'm doing everything to NOT share initials, but the two names we keep coming back to will match one of us.

One of my guilty pleasure names for a girl is Everly. I just love it. My husband likes the name Everett for a girl but I think it's better for a boy.
