I would have her say something along the lines, of a friend's mom told her he wasn't strapped in properly

I guess that depends on the relationship she has with her ex and his new SO...they could very well have a civil, adult relationship in which her concern would be genuine and valid. Not everybody has to have a hostile relationship with their ex, especially when there's a child involved

I think I know more about this relationship then some, so that is why I think it is odd that she is considering having her daughter mention something to the father. That is all I am gonna say, but that has me jaded.

I agree that going through your daughter is probably not the best approach.

Well since I'm labeled a bitch anyway I'll just say

The clip didnt look that low, the straps could have used a little tightening but there wasnt a whole lot wrong with the pictures. Secondly, I wouldnt put my daughter in the middle dont you think shes there enough? I would be grown enough to say something to my ex if i was that concerned about their new baby's safety.
