I don't think so. I think it's considered the same thing as welfare and when they're on welfare/unemployment etc they aren't expected to pay CS.

I believe so. My friends BD is getting on disability and she said that once he starts receiving it then she will be getting child support.

Yes you can. My ex is on social security and my two older kids draw checks from him.

I think it may depend on where you live. Here people on dissability don't have to pay cs.

When I worked at KFC on Lauzon before they closed there was a guy there who's ex gf was after him for CS and he quit his job and jumped on welfare so he didn't have to pay!

If its disability and the father is on the birth certificate they have to pay.basically he draws a dependent check which is sent directly to the mom as rep payee

He fully supports his other two children whom live with him and not LO.

My sis in law got pregnant by a guy on disability. If you file for child support they say hes not working. You would have to go to the social security office, my nephew gets social security checks from his dad.

Only if it was that easy =/. Its so easy to get welfare, Im trying to get disability for my myasthenia gravis but I keep getting denied. They say I can work although I can lift more than 10 lbs and my muscles get weak after so long.
