Toddler snacks.

Whenever I am looking at walmart and everything I see that is toddler drinks, or " kid food " I see the ages are 1-4.
I always thought that 1 year olds were still infants.
But, my question is, after they are one, can they really have all of this?

I don't see why not. My kids did. I suppose not all kids would be good with the hard veggies, but mine were always fine.

DD is 15 months and she has had all except for the cashews and walnuts, I'm keeping her away from nuts til she is about 2.5-3yo.
Edit: We cook the carrots and skin the grapes so it is easier for her to eat.

I'm still wary of anything hard and crunchy like raw carrots and nuts with DD (2.5) but they can have all of that as far as I know.

Yeah I don't want to give my son any nuts either until he's around 2 or 3 due to allergies.
When did you ladies give your kids strawberries?
My son has 4 teeth and will be one at the end of next month.

As soon as they are walking they are considered toddlers. After they are a year they are aloud to pretty much eat anything as long as you think they wouldn't choke on it etc.

I don't think I will give my son raw carrots until he's a little older too.
Carrots seem to hard.

DD loves strawberries, I gave her some when she was about 10 months (cut really small)

Depends on your child.
I wouldnt give my one year old raw nuts and grapes yet ((too much of a hassle to cut))
We always stuck with goldfish, teddy grahams, crackers with PB, Apple without the skins, bananas, animal crackers, yogurt, pudding, and that sort of stuff.

My DD has tried almost everything. She hasn't had nuts or seafood yet. That's about it.

My DD is 10 months. Eats fish has had cooked shrimp and peanut butter. And eats whatever I eat and has since 6 months old. All meat fruits veggies. I could not imagine not feeding my kids all food. Only thing she has not tried is honey.
I was giving her the 1-4 oatmeal but she hated it. Now I just make oatmeal with apple and cinnamon

My brother still only feeds his DD baby food, like the food in jars, and she's 16 months. I think it's crazy.
