They only give her two bottles a day. It's because my brother is a stupid wimp and won't stand up to his bitch wife. She's always been SUPER weird. She put the poor kid on a feeding schedule as soon as she was born.

So she only has 2 bottles of milk a day then jarred food at 16 months old? That sad. It really is.

I mean I know that a lot of people delay solids etc....but that is on the track of have lo being maybe more prone to food allergies and being deficiant in iron calcium and all other important nutrients. Im curious is she low in weight at all?

Cranky and tired all the time? Lacking in a lot of nutrients is not very healthy at all. And can cause a lot of tiredness and cranky misbehaving children...kwim? Because they are not meeting the daily requirements.

I know the states is big on delaying solids, where as Canada is a bit different. We are now study how delaying foods like nuts eggs and fish, maybe the cause to having more children having allergies to those high allergin foods. They started just in January encouraging parents to start those foods at 6 months of age. Now its still in certain stages of being studied, but they have been working on it a few years now. kwim?

I think its crazy, not the fact of waiting for foods to give kids, but only having milk twice a day and jarred foods that are low in calories and not enough nutrition for a child of that age, who runs walks plays and gets a lot of excercise. That is what baffles me.

I feed my toddler fruit, and cucumber (things on the soft side) My son likes steamed carrots for dinner. My son likes dried fruit (not as hard as carrots) and I don't give my son nuts
