abortion pill?

Has anyone used this method? What happens...? From what I've read it's very expensive and dangerous..
I'm 12 weeks and I'd rather use this method but all these articles about it have me verrrry nervous!

I'm not positive, but I think you might be too far along for it to work.

The pill only work until 9-10 weeks or so

I'm sorry hun, you are way too far along for the pill. There is a cut off and you've passed it. You will need a surgical abortion.

Yes...12 weeks is too late for the pill and in Georgia you need to hurry because docs that will preform the surgical after 12 weeks are hard to come by here

honestly, I think I'd prefer the surgical route. Quick, easy, over with without you seeing "remains", no having to go back to make sure you passed it all

I agree with this. Although, the surgical abortion does require one follow up visit two weeks after to make sure all the products of conception were successfully removed.
The pill requires at least two follow up visits and is very painful from what I've heard.

I decided to keep it. I had to tell my family anyway so, I'm just going to keep it. I'm too far along.

Well you're not too far along. You still have all the options in front of you.

Don't feel forced to keep it if you really don't want to. It isn't your family's decision, it's yours and yours alone.

I'm not pushing for abortion. Just urging you to make your own choice. Best of luck to you

the main reason I didn't want to keep it was because I didn't want to hurt my family and disappoint my dad any further. I was worried about my daughter and how she'd feel. I just wanted it to go away. I was also worried about things financially but all of that is temporary.

The cut off for the mediction is 8 weeks. Glad to hear you've decided to continue on with the pregnancy. Best of luck to you and congratulations.
