How lobg do yoou let you 2 1/2 year old nap for.
I pay my mom $400 a month to. Watch my son while I work and I'm really annoyed to the fact thay she lets him sleep as long as he wants to so she can have time to write. Friday. I asked how long had he napped for because he was in a horrible mood. And she goes atleast two and a half hours..... my little brother says sometines hell sleep for 3 to 4 hours. Seeriously I am having to fight with him to go to bed and he doesn't stay asleep. He is up every two hours until itts time to wake up.

My 2 year old doesn't nap anymore. When he does he's up really late.
He never sleeps longer then 2 hours if does though..

The two year old I babysit sleeps about 2 hours before I wake him. Any longer than that and he's grumpy for the rest of the day and won't settle for bed.

Sometimes my 4 year old still takes a 2 hour nap. They need more sleep than you'd think. I would definitely allow my son to sleep that long at that age. I've never woken him up from a nap unless we had to go somewhere.

DD is almost 2.5 and I let her sleep for as long as she wants/needs. Sometimes it's one hour, sometimes it's five. However, no matter how long she sleeps, she always goes to bed fine at 8PM. I figure if she sleeps that long, she needs it.

When DD was that age she slept about 3 hours. I let her nap as long as she wanted.
I miss naps. Now it's only some days that she'll lay down.

Well it seems to be affecting his night routine. Then I'm up all night with him and have to be at work at 8. A.m.
Were lucky to get him asleep by 11 p.m. anymore.

What time is he napping? Does she have him every day? It needs to be consistent so, for example, eat lunch between 12-1 then nap at 130. If he isn't asleep by 230 then I think it would be best to not take one, and just let him fall asleep a little in the car on the way home. But he shouldn't be going down for a nap at like 4 or something so late, ya know?

She doesn't put him down at 4 but when I get home at 5 about half the time I gotta. Wake him up.

Yeah I probably wouldn't let him stay asleep past 4 or so. That sucks
