re: baby - as a word in relation to pregnancy/birth

I'm pretty certain the OP specifically asked people's opinions... Not what it technically/medically was.

I have always used the word baby. Sometimes infant. never fetus. Really can careless what others use.

How would that work if you use only scientific terms? Would you tell the dr not to refer it as that if she did? or would you be happy that she did? (if you plan to go through the pregnancy)
