I really really hate Autism

Tonight Autism really sucks the bone. It breaks my heart that my 4 and a half year old is sobbing and sobbing and saying ma ma ma, but cannott tell me anything more no matter how many times I ask him. I now know it is not life threatening because the I-Pad made him stop crying but now I am up since 2 a.m. and probably couldnt even consider taking a nap. FML.

I'm sorry hun.

the ipad cures all ills around my house too. fortunately my children arent autistic but they have their share of insane meltdowns.

not that it really matters to you, but i found this interesting. the hospital i take my children to.. boston children's hospital. they are on the verge of releasing a new simple blood test to detect autism. can be used at birth and will help children obtain services earlier on to hopefully help before things start getting really bad

That is nice, because I used to say it didnt matter how he got it because I was done having kids anyways, but then I realised that my kids might carry a gene or something and everyone has a right to know.
Oh and I love the I-pad. I got all the kids an I-pod for Christmas but my sons is only going to be used as a communication device. Im excited.
