Crockpot pulled pork.

What ingredients do you put in yours? I've seen a few recipes that all have different ingredients, but I wanna know what you like

straight kansas city BBQ sauce.  

then i eat mine with a slab of red onion. YUMMM

One of my friends makes pulled pork cooked in the crockpot with rootbeer.. It sounds really weird but its really good.

I do it with chicken and I do 1 bottle of sweet baby rays, a little bit of ketchup, a little bit of stone.ground.mustard and honey

Only BBQ sauce? Because recipes I'm seeing say either Root Beer or Ginger Ale. But I don't like either of those

I put root beer in there with an onion/mushroom seasoning packet... and smother the pork with salt/pepper
And we eat it with Sweet Baby Ray's!

People use the Root Beer to get that Brown Sugar taste.. it's not strong at all!

hell yeah. i use atleast a 3lb roast.. chuck it in there with a whole bottle.. add a little water and then simmer it all day, put it out, shred it and then put the meat backin and leave the lid off so it'll cool and thicken a bit.

i'm easy to please.. and i could eat BBQ sauce straight from the bottle

the seasoning packet... is it like the Lipton onion soup packet? I know I've seen the onion one.

See- I don't cook it in the BBQ sauce, because I drain the fat off of it before I shred it LOL.. It seems sooooo gross to me to shred/mix the fat dripping with the BBQ sauce & stuff LOL
