How do you know...

If you are leaking fluid? With my son, I had like, none left by the time I went in for my 35 week check up, but I don't think I ever knew if I was leaking it. I'm a little more paranoid with this one. So, how do you know, and what are the differences between leaking fluid and normal discharge?

Watching. I swear my discharge lately has been water.

I dont know but My doctor said you can never be fully out of it because your body is constantly making it ?

Mine too! And I went to the bathroom a minute ago, and when I stood up, I trickled down my leg. But it didn't smell like pee and it was clear... All day I have felt trickling. I dunno if that is normal or not...

My Bp spiked dangerously high and depleted it before my body could make up more due to really severe pre-e.

That sounds like leaking... I didn't even trickle I was just really.. 'watery' down there. Sweet smelling and clear.

i have been wondering the same thing im 35 wks and it seems like my underwear are always damp. and the discharge is kinda white and i dont think im peeing on myself so i was really wanting to know what was up with tht

It didn't smell sweet, it didn't smell like anything. What should I do?

Mine has been like this too. I think it's normal discharge. But not sure.

Mine doesn't smell either. Someone's though I go to the bathroom and my undies are wet and there is a little white discharge but not al of it is white. Idk. Maybe I should get checked. It's so hard. I don't want them to think I'm nuts. But also if my water breaks my baby dies so they'd need to get her out now if I was leaking.

Wait... Can you even leak if u haven't lost our plug?? 'Cause I'm pretty sure I haven't.

One time SO actually asked me if i peed myself when I was undressing becuse of how wet my panties were.

Yeah you should get checked out for sure. And I have had some white discharge goin' on down there too, but I think that is normal. At least, I've had it just about the whole time.

im not sure i have been haveing a lot of discharge also and sometime there is a strange smell i dont think its a sweet smell i cant really put my finger on what it smells like but its not a nasty smelling odor like a yeast infection....not sure what it is

I didn't lose my plug, just bits and pieces. As for the smell, I read that amniotic fluid can smell either sweet or like creek water. I would still go and get checked out. The nurses won't look down on you because if you are leaking and don't go in, you're risking bacteria getting to your baby. If you didn't go into labor within 24 hours they'd either put you on antibiotics and hope for it to close itself or induce you.
